Costco And Water Fountains

Cumana, the eldest

Some say it was founded in 1521. Others say it was in 1523. In what most agree is that it was the first city founded by the English on American soil. Although no certainties, Cumana, Venezuela city located in Sucre state, continues to resonate with the echoes of their past that elevates as the great first-born of our continent. However
for Mrs. Y, a tourist guide, the historical gloss fades to contemplate the present of Cumana. "We stayed at this: a town with big city airs." While there can be considered a super modern city, Cumana is not a village. It is perhaps a nice hybrid, where tourists walk on concrete but may face a seascape around every corner.
Although my original destination was Mochima, Cumana surprised me pleasantly and I received a present on the palate: pies, unforgettable gastronomic delight any Venezuelan coastal destination. The ones I tested were made by Teresa, an old lady who prepares memory while collecting, serves coffee and juices and is updated with regular customers. Indeed, fully exposed site offers no guarantee of hygiene but despite that - and who knows, maybe precisely because of that, "the empanadas were delicious. Once
Mochima, first met one of the many havens established in my own land. For those who do not know, Mochima is a national park that lies between Sucre and Anzoátegui states and is a gift contemplate the view from any angle. The clear blue waters, green hills and the many different beaches dotted around the park make it a tourist attraction undeniable. I could only enjoy Playa Blanca, where the sand will do honor to the name of the place and the restaurant La Negra offers a delicious cuisine, traditional and tasty.
I know that for the short time, never knew virtually nothing of Cumana, the eldest, and I need to make one, two, and thousands more visits to Mochima to fully enjoy this wonderful destination. The idea away bug me, I would: I have excuses for coming and hope to do soon. I take also to invite to local and foreign tourists and become closer to this territory that exhibits the best qualities of Venezuela, our battered but still impressive land of grace.

Repairing Polly Pocket

Caracas, Caracas Company

I think everyone who reads my blog will have noticed I have a difficult relationship with Caracas. And is that Caracas is not easy and I have come to suspect that I am neither. That must be why our relationship is not pretty, or healthy, or exemplary. But Caracas always be my hometown and unbreakable connection that we should try to bring your best, whether by force.
However, this post is not to say chaos in Caracas, or traffic, or the few moments of silence and perfect peace which can be enjoyed here. No. It's to talk about what I do like to Caracas. That if there are things that I like, of course. So here I leave my list to see if it inspired them to fall over Caracas, where her relationship with her is as problematic as mine.

Heaven: For me, the sky Caracas is the most beautiful in the world. Sometimes the sky is on fire and a blaze of flames colorful: orange, red, yellow. Other times it is blue and purple and beautiful at the same time. The clouds made way possible and impossible in the vault and you can spend perfect sunrises and sunsets, watching those big whole cotton soaked in celestial light. It's all a show, luxury, I can enjoy every day.

El Ávila: The vision of this mountain gives us a constant joy to the Caracas daily and surprises us with its changing nature: the Avila is as eternal and imposing green paint to which an unknown artist adds a detail new every day. It is always different. I am happy to say that part of my routine, my office is set right in front of that beautiful hill. Another luxury that I can only give me here in Caracas.

The Metro: Les surprise right? Yes, I know that the Metro is a chaotic madness that promises to end the nerves of many Caracas at any time. But that is where I picked up some of the beautiful stories that characterize my idea of Caracas. It was there that a young My Way played on violin and dazzled us all with her artistic talents to classic-street. It was also where I witnessed the marriage more improvised, I do not know if less real, which I have had to attend (more details Until next season ). Has been in many subway stations where I've talked at length, I laughed very hard, I have been crushing the heart and I had to say goodbye, sometimes forever. There, in the pandemonium, are very important moments of my life. And that side of Metro poetic and nostalgic, perhaps only in my head, is something I like.

People: not talk about the disrespectful, inconsiderate and uncaring. Of those, better not to talk. I speak of men and women who are still able to be kind, even amid the rarefied atmosphere and violent. I speak of the few who still respect the law, traffic and the position in the queues. Of those who give the seat to an elderly, it could be your grandmother or your mom. Of which, having a food business, yet they give something to those who have not eaten in days. Of those who care about what happens to the neighbor, not gossip, but human. Of those who do their work as it should, even though they know that doing wrong will receive the same salary. I speak of Caracas that dares to be considerate of others, good people, peaceful. There are still not included because I would be very arrogant of me. However, it remains in my consciousness every day, yes, it is a daily struggle, trying to be a good Caracas, knowing how difficult it is.

Food: is expensive, sometimes very expensive, but delicious. I think the cuisine of Caracas has nothing to envy in foreign cities. Here you can find great Italian, English, Chinese, Japanese, Colombian, Arab, Mexican, Peruvian, Thai and Venezuelan, of course. And much more. Yo, I'm a skinny eat without shame, I can say that this is one of the qualities that I like in my city: good food.

Songs: Caracas was not always a malquerida, in the past, this city had many admirers. Several of them composed immortal songs that still resonate among us as a reminder of better times. One, composed by Johnny Costa Rican Quirós says: "Caracas, beautiful city. You are beautiful, Caracas, the birthplace of the Liberator. " Cute right? In another, the Colombian group Binomio Gold said: "Caracas, Caracas, as I like this city ...." Perhaps the most emblematic is the composed of the Dominican Billo Frometa, in his Canto a Caracas composed a true declaration of love:

"And I want both my Caracas
That while I live I can not forget
Its hills , red roofs, its nice sky
The colorful flowers Galipán .... "

I think I spend far as Billo Frometa: I also love my Caracas. That's why I fight so much with it, because I love her so, so ... much more than some people, speeches laden with patriotism and nationalism exacerbated, say they want. It hurts me to see it become what it is now, because in my memories as a child, Caracas is pretty as a princess.
A corner of hope, which sometimes I take refuge, said that one day I will return to Caracas as the city of my memories. And perhaps, even better. Joanna Ruiz Méndez

Free Plans To Build A Jon Boat

In the six stories of horror and mystery that form is concerned Company, Carlos Fuentes, the workout progresses smoothly until imaginary, supernatural beings, angelic or demonic, disrupt the daily lives of the characters to overpower and destroy it.
who have read other works by Fuentes, is surprised to find a different narrative Company is concerned, much more accessible to the average reader. Maybe sometimes too explicit and explanatory, but manages to keep the suspense of each history until the end. As always in the work of Fuentes, Mexico, as subject and as symbolism, is a constant reference to every story.
in the theater lover, tables and a Shakespearean drama structured basis for a silent love, the protagonist can only grasp the ethereal presence of his beloved through the theater scene. In my mother's cat, what begins as an apparent criticism of human relations and class differences in the key of comedy, then turns into a great story. The mother of the protagonist and his hateful cat are what seem to maintain the boundary between normal and a ghostly underworld.
In Good Company, a young Frenchman change its small personal and intellectual world the terrifying routine of two Mexican aunts. Although his initial plan is to take advantage of its status as a close relative to secure life, his mother's two sisters have a different project for his nephew. In Calixta Brand, the eponymous protagonist of U.S. origin, married a Mexican in a seemingly happy marriage. Over the years, he begins to resent the apparent human intellectual superiority and his wife does not take long when you start to humiliate her by this fact. In Sleeping Beauty, Dr. Jorge Caballero is facing a strange case: a patient, cold as death and lethargic for a constant dream, only reacts to the warm caresses lavished on their hands.
In Vlad, perhaps the most representative story of the work, the nature of the antagonist is evident from the first moment but no such plans, which affect, in different ways, the fate of the other characters. The routine of an average Mexican family is destroyed in the presence of picturesque Gothic-but-Vlad, who makes ironic dissertations on life, God and immortality. Recently published Vlad Carlos Fuentes's novel, and although I have not had a chance to read I suspect, for some comments on the Internet, developing the same idea of the story but obviously more extensive way. Although
could be considered that the presence of elements of the genre clichés, such as haunted houses and mysterious, is a weakness of the stories, I think that is a resource to demonstrate the powerful burst of horror in ordinary lives, Creole and routine characters. Overuse and obvious contrast is instructive intent: Sources tells us that even the most apparent normality lurks the shadow of the bizarre. We also strongly indicates the fragility of our everyday existence by the fact that, as shown in the back of the book, we usually call the imaginary beings do not die completely.
